The Rockwell SabrelinerT-39 was first introduced to the US Navy in the early 60’s and was initially used to provide radar training instruction for NFOs from Pensacola, Florida. Subsequently, a further 13 CT-39G’s were purchased, based on the commercial Sabreliner 60. It has a similar duties to the CT-39E, whose task is transport duties and high-speed, high-priority airlift tasks. It normally has a crew of three and cabin accommodation for up to seven passengers.
