The C-12 Super Kin Air’s first example was taken on charge as recently as 1979. Initial orders for these aircraft covered exactly 66 - 49 for the Navy and 17 for the Marines and the delivery was completed in May 1982. Versions of the Super King Air are certainly no exception, being used for a variety of tasks, which range from humble general-purpose light transport duties through battlefield surveillance to the acquisition of intelligence and electronic warfare.
